Planting trees!

On Thursday 24th March, we travelled to the Organic Centre to plant trees. We travelled to the centre earlier in the year to mark, with a willow cutting, where each tree would be planted. On Thursday we were greeted by Jimmy and the team. Marie Haraughty, Peach IV, was in attendance also. Jimmy led us to a neighbouring field, where we had placed our willow trees earlier in the school year. Species of trees were planted on Thursday,  included beech, oak and spruce pine! Jimmy and the team helped each child to plant their tree! There was a welcome visitor in the field and he was clearly delighted to see the children!
