Our Day of Celebration!

25th May 2022 marked a very enjoyable day for the whole school. Our school joined many schools from all around Ireland for a virtual Green Schools Award Ceremony! The children were able to see photos of what other schools have done in relation to all the Green Schools themes. We were awarded our second Green Schools Flag and the theme we worked hard on was the theme of Water.

The Virtual awards ceremony was followed by the raising of the Green Schools Flag by Denis Sheerin and the 3 boys wo made their First Holy Communion: Dylan McCaffrey, Finn Murphy and James Fox. They did a great job!

The final part of the day of celebration was a children’s party which they all enjoyed!!
