World Book Day 2023

Thursday the 2nd March was World Book Day. The pupils and staff outdone themselves with their costumes and characters from books . There were chipmunks, Ratburger, Gansta Granny,Grandpa and Awful Aunties, Horrid Henrys and Oompa lumpas! Willy Wonka and Violet made an appearance as did Granuaile, Little Red Riding Hood and Paddington Bear. We had Peter Rabbit, Zog, Princess Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty. There were so many amazing costumes including dinosaurs and Hacker. Needless to say sporting heroes were among the wonderful characters to come to school as well as lorry men, cattle dealers, scarecrows and farmers very interested in the Farmers Journal. Thankfully we also had a nurse available to keep everyone well. Sincere thanks to all parents who trawled the wardrobes and internet in search of costume inspiration. It was a wonderful day!
