Active Schools Week

We are enjoying Active School’s week here in Ballaghaneehan N.S.

Active School Week began with ‘Scoot at school’ day on the 9th June. The pupils took scooters, bikes, go karts and even a pedal tractor to school and took part in activities with them on the day. What a great start to Active Schools’ Week!

On Day 2 Raffaelo Cretano facilitated a session in the school as part of the “Futsal in the Yard” programme. He spent an hour with each classroom.

Day 3 of Active School Week took us on a lovely walk to Fowleys Falls. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed a lovely picnic on the way!
