We have amazing talented dancers here in Ballaghemeehan N.S. Look at their medals and trophies which they won at a recent class Feis. Huge Well Done to You All.

We were delighted to have members of the Thursday Club back with us on Thursday last 3th November. This time around the pupils were helping the members with technology questions they might have. We are really looking forward to our Christmas Performance next Thursday in the New Ballagh Centre.  

On Thursday 16th November we hosted members of the Thursday Club in our school. They brought photographs and items from their childhood and their localities. The children were fascinated by the fashion, the bombed border and the methods of punishments. We want to thank Sarah for organising this lovely event and we look forward to having the Thursday club back...

A wonderful Day was had by all with Staffi Otto who showed all the pupils the art of traditional rope making as well as some handmade traditional playground games. The pupils in the Senior room also had an enjoyable afternoon making rush crafts.

The pupils had great fun on Friday cutting out clay ornaments and decorating them for the Christmas markets. Huge thanks to Laura, Paula, Annette and Herbie from the sculpture Centre for all their work!!

Congratulations to the pupils who competed at the Connaught Cross Country Championships recently. One of whom has qualified for the All- Irelands. Well done on such a Super achievement.  

Look at the amazing array of gifts and crafts which will be available at our stall at the upcoming Christmas Markets in Rossinver Community Centre and in the Bee Park, Manorhamilton.   

On Tuesday, 7th November the pupils had great fun painting Christmas decorations for the upcoming Christmas markets. We thank Donna so much for facilitating these workshops and for all her preparation and work. I am sure you’ll all agree that they are beautiful!
