The pupils in the Senior Room had another great cycle session with John Conlon last Friday afternoon. They were practicing hill starts and cycling as well as cycling through cones. Some very skillful cyclists here!!

We launched our year’s PEACE IV project with a great day out bowling with our partner’s Masterson School in Mack’s Amusement’s, Bundoran. Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth & Sixth class all enjoyed the experience as they got to know the pupil’s in Masterson. Here are some pictures of the teams and some action shots!!

On Wednesday the 26th of October, members of the Melvin Gaels junior C county champions visited our school. We were delighted to welcome this great team, in particular family members of our pupils. It’s great to see North Leitrim teams feature as county champions. Well done to the team.  

We were blown away with the kindness and generosity of our pupils as they brought in their shoeboxes for children less well off in other parts of the world. They along with their families worked hard over the midterm to prepare very special boxes. Well done!!!!

On Friday the 28th of October , pupils and staff dressed up. We had a wonderful collection of ghosts, vampires, super heroes and other gruesome creatures. Well done to pupils and their families for the wonderful effort on the day!!  

Our Junior room enjoyed a lovely Autumn Walk with Mr. Jones  

All our wonderful pupils were treated to a concert by Niko and Christine. Pupils joined in the singing and we had an impromptu display of dancing talent by some of the pupils.A few of our pupils were lucky enough to try out the harp and the bodhran. Here are some images of the fun activities the pupils enjoyed as part of maths week. The pupils in the senior room designed Maths eyes worksheets for the Junior room pupils. Both classrooms enjoyed Maths Trails around the school and Maths board games were a definite hit!!!
