Peace IV Programme

 On the 14th June, both Masterson N.S. and ourselves visited the Organic Centre as part of the Peace IV Programme. As per Health and Safety guidelines, each school visited the centre separately, Masterson N.S. in the morning and ourselves in the afternoon. This final visit of the current school year comprised of a visit to the pond so that the children would  have a close up view of tadpoles at various stages of their development, followed by a workshop, during which each child was encouraged to plant a range of flowering seeds. It was a very enjoyable day for everybody and we hope you enjoy viewing our photos.

St. Aidan’s National School & The Peace IV Programme

We are delighted to announce that St. Aidan’s N.S. will continue to participate in the Peace IV Programme again this year, in collaboration with Masterson N.S., Manorhamilton.
The focus of this collaborative work will continue to be the areas of P.E., S.P.H.E., Drama, Visual arts, Literacy and Science.
As an introduction for senior pupils of our school to meet up with senior pupils from Masterson N.S. we travelled to Johnny Rocko’s Triple Entertainment Zone in Irvinestown on Thursday 17th October to engage in bowling activities. It was a great social occasion for children from both schools. They were divided into teams, which were made up of pupils from both schools. They were thoroughly engaged and really enjoyed the experience,so much so that they could not believe when their time was up! Please enjoy some photos of their bowling day!
